A Couple of Great Videos

I put up a couple of videos here. This first one is a young man by the name of Cody Mead who lives in Pennsylvania. He's 14 years old and is a tremendously talented young man. He's a fine organist and is a joy to watch play. He has a YouTube page and I also support his blogs which you can see to the right on this page. Check his stuff out and I think you'll be as delighted as I am.

The second one is a video of a young man playing a Yamaha Electone Stagea in a competition in I believe Japan. Another talent and fun to watch. For your entertainment pleasure.

Would Somebody Please Explain to Me?

What kind of bullshit is John McCain and Sarah Palin espousing to the good citizens of this country? I swear that either we are the most gullible people in the world or we just enjoy self flagellation. We keep electing people that really could care less about us (Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Nixon, Reagan, Bush the Elder, Bush the Younger aka Shrub) beause we fall for all of the nonsense they have espoused that make their policies sound soooooo good but are in fact so bad. It is time to stop focusing on all of the nonsense in this country like who is wearing what, where did Paris Hilton party last night and what was she wearing, NASCAR, clubbing, CEO's (A group of rich powerful people with overrated values of their own self importance) and in general, deifying people who aren't worthy of this treatment.

I realize that paying attention to inconsequential things like, the economy, foreign affairs, government, both local and national, are rather boring subjects. I realize that acting and showing how stupid one can be are in vogue. (Why do people, when they are shown on television or have their picture taken, stick their tongues out as far as they can?) Hell, in some quarters, showing any form of intellengence is aginst cultural morays (Check out any rural town in the deep South as prime examples). I'm proud to say that I am a pointy headed, Liberal (Although I prefer Progressive) intellegent human being that is capable of critical, rational thought. I would like, for once, to see others make an attempt to try to do some of the same. I'm really fed up with people as a whole.

I'm a banker by trade and I have worked in other professions (most notably insurance and for those of you who are wondering why your rates are so high it's because none of you can or will make an effort to drive like a reasonable human being. So stop bitching about your rates and focus on your own habits. You'll find they may go down. In the mean time, SHUT UP!!!!) so I have the misfortune of having to deal with the most contemptable group of people in creation....Customers! The American Customer/Consumer is the most loathesome constituency in the world. We want, we demand, we'll huff and puff and blow your house down if you don't give me what I want. Oh and yes, you'll get me fired because you are all knowing, all powerful and all full of shit. I have never been fired (or reprimanded for that matter) because somebody threatened my job and I don't know anybody else who has either. So deal with this, none of you know what you are talking about. None of you have an inkling of what is going on in your own lives let alone what else is going on in this world. Most of you overdraft your bank accounts with regularity yet will call me and my colleagues and scream and holler that it's all our fault and I (meaning my bank/employer, I will not reveal their name out of respect, they've treated me well) am going out of my way to screw them. Well you group of malignant narcissists, no we're not. You're screwing yourselves and won't listen to solutions to those problems THAT YOU'VE CAUSED!!!!! So if you read this and are thinking about calling me or any other banker for my bank or any other for that matter, just remember to BLOW IT OUT YOUR ASS!!!! Put down the phone and fix it yourself because you're the only one that can do this. Turn that index finger toward yourself and point at the person who's really to blame....YOURSELF! I have no sympathy for any of you.

Also, and this is for you younger folks, LEARN SOME CLASS!!!! Learn to say please and thank you. Treat people decently and lose your narcissitic attitudes!!!! YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING!!!! GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!!!!! I'M REQADY TO START SMACKING THE LOT OF YOU UPSIDE YOUR HEADS AND KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO ALL OF YOU!!!! aND AT 6'3", 200+ LBS, THAT WILL BE ONE HELL OF A WHACK!!!!! GROW UP!!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME DON'T YOU THINK???
